Introduction
The Cable Sealing Status Monitoring System mainly consists of built-in resistance sensors, external collection relays, and monitoring software. The system utilizes electrical impedance monitoring to assess the status of seals at both ends of cable joints. The built-in resistance sensors are installed on the surface of the seals to measure the resistance value within the area between two points. This system is suitable for real-time monitoring of seal status at intermediate joints and cable terminations of dry-type cables rated at 35kV and above.
