Main Technical Performance Parameters of the Device
Device Capacitance Tolerance: The ratio of the measured capacitance of each phase of the device to the nominal capacitance shall not exceed 0~5%’, and the ratio of the maximum and minimum capacitances among the three phases shall not exceed 1.02.
The device is capable of continuous operation at 1.05 times the rated voltage.
The device is capable of continuous operation at a root-mean-square current not exceeding 1.3 times the rated current
The connection configurations of capacitor installations are classified into single-star connections and double-star connections. The protection schemes for capacitor installations are generally categorized as follows:
Primary protection: internal and external fuse protection;
Secondary protection (relay protection):
open delta voltage protection, phase voltage longitudinal differential protection, bridge differential current
protection, neutral point unbalanced current protection, etc.
In addition, the system shall also be provided with overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, and instantaneous overcurrent protection, among others.
Device Operating Environment
Installation Site: Indoor or outdoor.Installation and Operation Altitude: 1000m and below (must be specified when placing an order if exceeding 1000m).
Ambient Temperature in Installation and Operation Area: -40℃~+45℃ (must be specified when placing an order if the temperature exceeds this range).
The installation floor of the device shall have an inclination of no more than 5 degrees with the vertical plane; there shall be no conductive or explosive dust, no harmful gases and vapors, and no severe mechanical vibration in the installation and operation area.
Earthquake: Horizontal ground acceleration 0.25g, vertical acceleration 0.125g, both accelerations act simultaneously, g is the gravitational acceleration.
According to the layout form, the device can be divided into: cabinet type, frame type, and box type.
Cabinet Structure: The structure adopts a frame design similar to high-voltage switchgear, where all configured components and accessories are integrated and mounted. Cabinet doors are constructed from steel plates or galvanized steel mesh panels. The unit consists of three main parts: reactor cabinet, discharge cabinet, and capacitor cabinet. It features a neat and compact layout, along with convenient installation. This cabinet-type design is ideally suited for indoor applications with voltage ratings of 6‒10kV and capacity ratings of 300kvar‒8000kvar.
Frame Type: The frame-type structure is constructed by welding angle steels, channel steels, and other profiles into a standard frame. Capacitor units are mounted on the frame to form modular units. As required, multiple modular units and post insulators (used for connecting between modules) can be combined to form configurations with various capacity ratings and voltage ratings.
Box Type: It can integrate either frame-type or cabinet-type configurations into a single enclosure. Designed for outdoor installation, it occupies a smaller footprint compared to the frame-type structure and can be configured for either group automatic switching or fixed switching, fully compliant with international power industry standards.
